Nayak joins forces with Nordic MRO and Altitude Paint Services to reinforce its market presence.

Nayak celebrates 50 years as Europe’s largest independent MRO.

Chequers Capital becomes the new strategic owner, supporting the next phase of growth.

Yellow Technic by Nayak is born: a new joint venture with Vueling, focused on efficient, high-quality maintenance.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nayak supports cargo operators and manages parked aircraft. All employees remain with the company despite the crisis.

Nayak further expands in Spain and Austria.

Nayak takes over former Air Berlin Technik operations, gaining 200+ employees and a hangar in Düsseldorf.

Nayak is acquired by a SFO.

Broad European Expansion with new stations in France, Denmark, and Sweden, and new branches in Czech Republic, Turkey and Portugal.

Nayak takes full responsibility for KLM Cityhopper fleet maintenance. Expansion to Poland and Finland follows, along with the implementation of AMOS software.

Nayak Aircraft Services Italy Srl is founded. By this time, the company spans Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy with ~600 employees, supporting KLM Cityhopper and EasyJet.

Nayak acquires Celsius Aviocomp, establishing Nayak Aircraft Services Netherlands B.V. with 40 employees.

Herbert Busch and German Larrabe lead a management buy-out. Nayak Verwaltungs GmbH is formed as a holding company.

RFG Dortmund acquires NFD and Nayak. The group becomes Eurowings. Nayak becomes a central maintenance partner and begins Line Maintenance operations.

NFD acquires Nayak after 12 successful years and about 70 employees. Nayak expands services to include NFD’s ATR fleet and B757 aircraft under a joint venture with Air Europe.

Nayak maintains NFD’s first real scheduled flights. A key milestone in establishing a long-standing partnership.

Two engineers start working at Nayak, a small BAT-Air subsidiary focused on Rockwell Commander and Metroliner aircraft. This marks the foundation of the company’s people-first and quality-driven culture.
